Trumpeter Arne Kollandsrud was inspired by the fantastic ambience in the newly built military airplane hangar located at Gardermoen, Oslo. The music on these recordings gives you an impression of "slow motion living" with lots of time to let the longer thoughts evolve in your mind, and is perfect for meditation and relaxation. THE HAT was a performance about love. It was made by Jan Gjessing and Svend Undseth in 1984 and toured Norway the year after with support from Rikskonsertene with varios singers and musicians.
